The Lualaba Copper Smelter S.A.S. in the DRC is the country's first large-scale, modern pyrometallurgical copper smelting company. Phase I of the project has an annual capacity of approximately 120,000 tonnes of blister copper. It employs a globally advanced integrated process combining double-side blowing smelting, multi-nozzle top-blown converting, and reduction electric furnace cobalt recovery. The plant is distinguished by its high efficiency, environmentally friendly operations, and strong capabilities in comprehensive resource utilization.
